Hey all of you bloggers out there! I am finally leaving tomorrow! Where you ask? Well my grandma is taking me to Seattle for 1 1/2 weeks. She has a convention and I’m along so she isn’t lonely and so that I get to see the sights. Plus her birthday is during the trip, and who wants to be alone on their birthday?? Nobody does!! So, I am going along, we are going to do so many fun things!! Can’t wait. But the downside to all of this is that we need to be at her house by 4:00am and that means I have to wake up by 2:00am and leave the house by 3:30am. ughhh!!
well can’t wait for the trip!
love you all…text me, email me, facebook me, what ever it is, talk to me!
*comment too!*

“Imagine a world where everyone has accss to affordable, clean, renewable power.” I imagine it, but today I have decided I’m going to take the first step to actually change the Earth, and the planet us humans will live on forever. Here are some interesting, yet changeable facts of pollution and global warming on Earth.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________
•2006 was ranked as the hottest year on record in the United States.
•America was ranked as the top global warming polluter in the world.
•20% increase of America’s carbon dioxide emissions from the burning of fossil fuels since 1990.
•15% increase of America’s carbon dioxide emissions forecasted by 2020 if we do not cap pollution.
•80% decrease in U.S. global warming pollution required by 2050 to prevent the worst consequences of global warming.
•78 days by which the US fire season has increased over the past 20 years – tied closely to increased temperatures and earlier snowmelt.
•200 million people around the world who could be displaced by more intense droughts, sea level rise and flooding by 2080.
•358 U.S. mayors (representing 55 million Americans) who have signed the U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement pledging to meet or beat Kyoto goals in their communities.
• 0 federal bill passed to cap America’s global warming pollution.
•There was only 1 time that President Bush had mentioned “climate change” or “global warming” in his previous six State of the Union speeches.

Now when you read those facts how do you feel? Sad? Upset? Disappointed? Well join me, and the rest of the people that have taken the first step and we can change those statistcs so that we don’t have to deal with living in a messed up, trashy Earth.
It’s easy, just change some of your daily habits. Here are some things you can do to take the first step:
________________________________________________________________________________________________________
•Recycle
•Take a shorter shower
•Carpool or ride the bus
•Bike or Walk
•Turn lights off when you leave a room
•Use eco friendly supplies (ex: lightbulbs, paint, cleaning supplies, etc.)
•Use solar power
•Use a clothes line
•Donate your clothes instead of throwing them away
•Use reusable bags, water bottles, etc.
•Open a window instead of using air conditioning
________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Those are only some things that you can do there are many many more things you can try to do, so take the first step to change the world.
Hey you guys! It’s Caitlin! I love all of my friends and family to infinity and beyond! And I’m sure they all know that, and I know that I show it! I wouldn’t be this far in life if I didn’t have my wonderful parents to support me in life, and all of my decisions no matter if they like it or not, if it’s safe, they will support me and help me with whatever I need. And my friends, if I didn’t have them, I don’t know what I would do on the weekends, or who I would go to for support when I can’t go to my parents, or if I need a study partner, I know exactly who to go to! I love everyone that’s in my life, and each for their own special reasons! And I hope you keep reading for my next posts…keep following at: www.caitlinesther.com or find me on Facebook and Youtube!
Goodnight!
Love,
Caitlin <3
